Navasto has announced a new innovation partnership with INEOS Britannia, the British sailing team challenging to win the 37th America’s Cu

Founded in 2014, NAVASTO is pioneering and spearheading the adaptation of artificial intelligence in engineering processes to drastically speed up development cycles.

NAVASTO consists of a team of experts from various fields, all united by a love of problem-solving. The company's software products are built on a foundation of real-world engineering experience and are designed to address the actual problems faced by engineers and managers in the industry.

It is this deep-rooted expertise that NAVASTO is proud to bring to its collaboration with INEOS Britannia. As their supplier, NAVASTO is not merely providing off-the-shelf solutions; the company is dedicated to integrating its technology to create bespoke, race-winning systems.

Led by the most successful Olympic sailor of all time and America's Cup winner, Sir Ben Ainslie, INEOS Britannia is the Challenger of Record for the 37th America’s Cup and the British team is competing for a third successive campaign. The America’s Cup is the oldest international sporting trophy – dating back to 1851 – and stands as one of the hardest technical sporting endeavors with only four nations ever winning the Auld Mug.

Pierluigi Orsi, Head of Fluid Dynamics Group, INEOS Britannia said: “The America’s Cup is a race on the water and in the design office, with the speed and accuracy of our design tools having a direct impact on the race boat reaching its optimal performance and beyond. It’s essential that we can be fast and reactive in our development to enable race winning design decisions. Therefore, we are delighted to be working with Navasto, who are pioneering the adaptation of artificial intelligence in engineering processes, with no room for error we need our CFD to be accurate, fast and reliable and their tools deliver in all those areas.”

The 37th America’s Cup will take place between August and October 2024 in the beating heart of beautiful Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia and one of the most visited cities on planet Earth.
